SUN FUN: Kings Langley resident organises summer fete to raise funds for church

Published on: 4th July 2022   |   By: Christina Pantelly   |   Category: Uncategorized

A summer fete organised by a Kings Langley resident will benefit a village church.

Hoping to build on the success of last year’s summer fete, Jacqueline Hubble is set to hold the event at All Saints Church in Kings Langley on Saturday, July 16, from 10am-3pm.

The fete will bring together stalls ranging from those selling homemade goods to tombola and toy adoption stalls. All proceeds will go towards the running of the church.

Jacqueline said: “I’m excited to be helping again to raise money for a church that is so close to my heart. I got involved last year by asking the vicar, Father James McDonald, if I could organise a fete, and thankfully it’s carried on to this year and hopefully every year from now on. It’s a real community togetherness day.”

Father McDonald said: “Everyone is welcome to come along to this fun day with lots of things for children, from a teddy zip wire off the tower to a bouncy castle, and for adults too with a real ale bar, crazy golf and stalls.”
