Community sports organisation Stanmore Jafferys have announced their slate of summer sporting activities taking place in 2023.
The Stanmore Jafferys Racket Sports Festival will be held between May 6 and 8, followed by their Cricket Bonanza on June 11. Both events have been huge successes in previous years.
The Salaam Cup will be held on June 24. In 2019, the event attracted more than 100 teams and more than 2,000 spectators. Although the event was paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic and a lack of resources, it promises to be better than ever when it returns this summer.
The Marhaba Rackets Festival will take place on July 15 and 16, and the Community Cup will take place on July 15.
Later in August and September, the Jafferys will be supporting the Ali Asghar Water Appeal once more. A total of £92,000 was raised for the appeal in 2022, with a further £300,000 raised in the years prior.
Confirmation of dates and details will be provided closer to the time of the events at sjhub.org.uk
