After bravely battling the intense heat, gardeners showcased their talent at the Bovingdon Summer Show, organised by Bovingdon Gardeners.
Visitors to Bovingdon Memorial Hall were astonished by the assortment of vegetables, fruits and flowers. The creative flower arrangements brought a dramatic splash of colour to the hall, whilst fresh produce stood a testament to the dedication of the gardeners who took part.
Other wares showcased local talent, with tables overflowing with preserves, tantalising home-cooked items and beautiful floral art. A variety of photographs captured unique moments frozen in time, demonstrating the photographers’ eye for detail.
The children who took part brought a sense of community spirit to the event, showing their strong enthusiasm and creativity.
The winners were Claire Winter, Mike Leon, Gillian Johansson, Debbie Oastler, Lloyd Moore, Jane Cayley and Oliver Simpson.
