Two students from St Clement Danes in Chorleywood represented the school at a National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) qualifying event recently.

Frankie Owen, Year 8, and Grace Haig, Year 7, both produced clear rounds at the event, despite the rain and cold weather.

Only about 10 out of 40 participants managed to jump a clear round.

Frankie and her pony Magpie came fifth and Grace and her pony Jazz won first prize, qualifying for the NSEA National Championships.

Posting on their website, a spokesperson said: “An amazing achievement – well done Frankie and Grace.”
