Rennie Grove Peace Hospice is offering Rickmansworth residents the chance to dance in a bid to get people moving whilst raising important funds for the charity,
As part of Strictly Come Hospice, contestants will receive 10 weeks of training from two local dance professionals, culminating in a finale at Watersmeet in Rickmansworth in January 2025. Their only cost will be a £30 registration fee upon confirmation of a place on the course.
Participants will be asked to raise £600 in sponsorship and encouraged to sell at least five tickets to the grand finale.
With a three-month training period and lessons held locally at Rickmansworth School, there will be plenty of time for budding dancers to polish their skills and showcase emerging talents to friends and family to encourage generous sponsorship.
All trainings will take place at 7pm on a Tuesday evening for two hours apiece. No prior dancing experience is necessary.
Rennie Grove Peace Hospice needs to raise more than £17,000 per day to keep its vital support services running.
