Police are releasing an image of a statue that was stolen from The Grove in Watford.

The statue of a leaping woman, estimated to be worth around £11,500, went missing from the hotel grounds sometime between October 13 and 25.

PC Charlotte Bartlett, of the Rickmansworth Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “I am appealing to the public for any information about what happened to this distinctive statue. Have you seen it somewhere or noticed anything suspicious around the hotel between the dates mentioned?

“If you have any information, please email me via charlotte.bartlett@herts.police.uk quoting crime reference 41/85981/23.”

You can also report information online, speak to an operator in the Force Communications Room via the online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting the above crime reference.

Alternatively, you can stay 100 per cent anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form.
