Published on: 16th October 2026   |   By: The Newsdesk   |   Category: Featured

Abbots Langley residents will be able to access free health advice and wellbeing activities at a community forum later this month.

The event will take place at Henderson Hub on High Street on Saturday, October 24, from 1pm to 4pm, bringing together health specialists and community organisations.

Organised by Eternity Community CIC and KEL Gospel Ministries International, in collaboration with Connecting Three Rivers Board and other local partners, the forum will cover mental health, loneliness, nutrition, healthy lifestyles, meningitis and sepsis awareness.

Three Rivers District Council chairman Cllr Keith Martin will deliver a welcome address, while Pst Humphrey David, senior pastor of KEL Gospel Ministries International, will give the opening talk.

Speakers include GP Dr Neha Jain Vigh on mental health and loneliness, UK Sepsis Trust volunteer Yvonne Campanini on sepsis awareness and Meningitis Now community ambassador Kate Speirs on meningitis.

Nutrition specialists Kim Allen and Stephy Dixon will also contribute, while Georgy from GKL Active Wellbeing will lead movement and exercise activities.

Attendees will be able to ask questions, visit health information stalls, take part in dance and fitness sessions and enjoy music from the Eternity Community Choir.

Free healthy food and refreshments will be available, alongside antioxidant wellness scans.

The forum aims to make health information more accessible, encourage healthier living and strengthen community connections, with individuals, families and carers welcome.

Entry is free, with advance registration encouraged through the Health Awareness Forum registration page.
