Footie fanatics may have noticed a recognisable backdrop in this year’s training camp footage from Soccer Aid 2024.
Champneys Tring hosted the star-studded line-up of ex-professional footballers and celebrities, all training in preparation for the charity fundraising Soccer Aid match on Sunday, June 9.
In the lead-up to the match, the two teams, consisting of giants such as Sir Mo Farah CBE, world-record holder Usain Bolt, Marvel actor Tom Hiddleston, and football legends Jill Scott MBE, Patrice Evra, Ellen White MBE, Joe Cole, and Eden Hazard, made their way to Tring for training.
Soccer Aid was created in 2006 by Take That star Robbie Williams and TV presenter Jonathan Wilkes. Since then, the event has raised more than £106million for UNICEF.
This year’s Soccer Aid match consisted of a nine-goal thriller, and ended with England being crowned the champions against World XI for the first time since 2018.
