A talented group of young performers from Chorleywood recently enjoyed the opportunity to show off their skills by performing in London’s West End.

On Saturday, June 1, pupils from Stagecoach Chorleywood took part in a one-night-only production at His Majesty’s Theatre.

The members of Stagecoach Chorleywood showed off their talent on the stage alongside numerous other groups from across the country.

Speaking to Chorleywood News, Kitty said: “They were nervous, but were buzzing as well. They got to have a proper tech run and go backstage. In the end, they just smashed it.

“They were just amazing, so well-behaved, professional and curious, and they all supported each other as well.”

The performance, which consisted of a mash-up of music from various productions based on the works of Disney and Roald Dahl, also saw many of the Chorleywood youngsters given the opportunity to perform solos alongside the group songs.

Kitty added that it was lovely for the group to be able to perform in His Majesty’s Theatre, as one of their teachers is currently performing in The Phantom of the Opera at the same theatre.

Chorleywood Stagecoach is now looking forward to a summer performance set to take place at Disneyland Paris.
