An 18-year-old male has been taken to hospital after sustaining a stab wound at The Brow in Watford last night (Tuesday, April 27).
Police and ambulance services were called to the location near Woodside Community Centre at around 5.30pm to reports of an injured man. Police are now looking to trace the suspect.
Hertfordshire Police said: “His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing at this time.
“Officers completed a thorough search of the surrounding area, with support from the BCH Armed Policing Unit and the BCH Dog Unit, but no suspect was traced. It is believed the victim and suspect are known to each other.”
Officers are currently conducting extensive enquiries to identify the offender. Anyone with any information is asked to call 101 quoting ISR 610 of 27 April.
