St John’s Infant and Nursery School in Radlett marked its 60th birthday in July with a two-day celebration.
Former headteacher Katharine Passmore was welcomed back to the school, as well as one of the school’s first-ever pupils whose mother still lives next door to St John’s.
The Year 2 choir sang beautifully and retired teachers were delighted to recognise so many of the songs from their own days at the school.
The children enjoyed lots of dancing and party food, and each took home their very own school teddy bear.
