A man wanted on recall to prison was arrested for possession with intent to supply class A drugs and assaulting a police officer in the Rose Gardens in St Albans last week.
A member of the public contacted police after seeing a man acting suspiciously outside Waterend Barn at 9.40am on Wednesday (June 12). He was seen on St Albans City and District Council’s CCTV cameras.
PC Ben Kirby from the Neighbourhood Team arrested a 24-year-old from St Albans on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and assaulting a police officer. He has been sent back to prison and enquiries continue into the drugs and assault offences.
Thousands of pounds of class A drugs suspected to be ketamine, MDMA and cocaine were seized.
