Businesses in Watford are being encouraged to raise their staff morale with an exciting sports day event.
The Corporate Sports Day, sponsored by Metro Bank, will be held at Watford FC Training Ground in London Colney on Wednesday, October 9, and invites businesses to raise money for two local charities – Herts Inclusive Theatre and Watford FC’s Community Sports & Education Trust.
Event organisers are set on making this year bigger and better than the last, specifically by keeping the sports day open to businesses of different sizes – if you have a large business, you can submit several teams of six and if you’re a small business that can’t get six people together, your staff can now join together with others.
All participants are asked to raise £50, with anyone raising over £100 individually going into a draw for a fantastic prize.
The event, from 6pm to 9.30pm, also invites spectators to come and watch their friends and family take on some typical sports day challenges – please note that all spectators must book for £5 in advance.
Every participant and spectator will receive a free Nandos wrap.
