Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted Leisure Centres have achieved the seal of approval from Quest, the UK quality scheme for sport and leisure.
Both leisure centres were awarded high scores from Quest, and can now add ‘Excellent’ and ‘Very Good’ accolades to their list of achievements.
In 2018, Everyone Active invested £1.3million into the refurbishment of Hemel Hempstead Leisure Centre. The improvement works saw the centre upgrade and extend its gym, provide a new group cycling studio and a multi-purpose room, and dramatically improve its dry-side changing facilities.
We’re working in partnership with Everyone Active to implement similar refurbishment plans for Berkhamsted Leisure Centre, while assessing the feasibility of a new build.
Quest is a highly regarded facility improvement programme within the sports and leisure industry and its rigorous assessments challenge even the very best leisure centres in the UK.
Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted Leisure Centres were assessed to evaluate the health and safety, environment, customer experience, staff, cleaning and housekeeping of the venues. The Quest team also sent a ‘mystery shopper’ to review the facilities unannounced.
