Pinner Village Gardens (PVG) Junior Parkrun hosted a truly spooktacular event on Sunday, October 29.
The PVG Junior Parkrun is a free weekly 2km event, held every Sunday at 9am for four to 14 year olds. It is entirely organised and run by volunteers from the local Pinner community.
The PVG Junior Parkrun team told Pinnernews: “Ninety-eight runners from Pinner and beyond headed to the gardens dressed as various creatures, including ghosts and witches.
“We had eight first-timers and 19 runners who achieved a personal best. Well done to everyone!
“We started our first event on February 6, 2022, and since then we have had nearly 6,500 finishers and more than 900 children participating at our events – with 194 volunteers helping us since then!
“We will be celebrating our two-year anniversary on February 18, 2024, which may also coincide with our 100th event, so please come and help us celebrate this wonderful milestone!”
