A Kings Langley resident is set to host a summer fete in support of a village church who have supported the community throughout the pandemic.
Jacqueline Hubble has announced is set to host a church fete at All Saints Church on Sunday, August 7 with proceeds from the event going to the church.
This event comes at the end of a difficult year due to the COVID-19 pandemic during which many have found the church and its garden to be a safe space.
Jacqueline said that through the event and subsequent tombola raffle, she hopes she can give something back to the church.
She said: “With everything that has been going on lately I have been going to the church a lot. So many people say how much of a calm place it is.
“So far I have got 27 stalls and raised £270 with each stall paying £1 which goes to the church.”
Jacqueline added that on the day all the local homemade stalls will be taking cash only.
