A local photographer from Amersham has spoken of her passion for the artform and bringing happiness to others through her photos.
Sue Craigs Erwin first started experimenting with her camera six years ago.
She said: “After my husband passed away, I got myself a little dog and started taking pictures on my camera whilst out walking him.”
What began as a hobby has become quite the passion for Sue, who regularly shares her work on the yourAmersham Facebook page.
Today, the born-and-bred Amersham local is surprised to find herself regularly recognised when out and about with her camera.
Sue explained: “I try to portray what I see. My aim is just to bring people a bit of happiness by showing them the beauty I see all around me. That’s why I started sharing my photos on social media.
“I do see it as a form of mindfulness. Photography puts you in a good headspace.
“But really, taking photographs is just something I do when out walking my dog, Ted. It’s just what I see in front of me.”
