A spooky Halloween event is returning to Chiltern Open Air Museum in Chalfont St Peter on Friday, November 1.
Set against a backdrop of historic buildings, the museum is set to welcome brave residents, cool ghouls and spooky horses.
Scary stories will be told around the fire at the Iron Age roundhouse, where guests will be able to toast marshmallows.
Activities will include fire performances and a woodland walk, which will take locals past monsters hiding in the dark.
On social media, the museum shared: “Come and join us for an evening of spooky fun. See our buildings dressed up spooktacularly, listen to spine-tingling storytelling, and watch out for the spooky horses.”
The museum is encouraging attendees to dress in their best Halloween costumes for a chance to win a special prize.
A range of hot food and drinks will also be available for purchase and the proceeds will help to support the museum, which is a registered charity.
