A young Croxley musician has just released his debut single.
Samuel Robson, 21, releases songs under the name of 5AMUEL. His first single, rent-free, is a song he says he wrote at a time when he was taking a big step towards adulthood.
Speaking about the role music has played in his life, 5AMUEL told CROXLEYnews: “I have been writing songs since the age of 11 and, at 15, I delved into recording software and began producing the songs I had written.
“I naturally gravitate towards music, and I can’t see that changing. Even in previous years where I was apprehensive about ever releasing a debut single, I was persistent in refining each song.”
5AMUEL comes from a family already known to the local music scene, with his dad being the lead guitarist in Croxley band The Four Horsemen. He says he feels “blessed” to have been brought up in such a supportive space.
You can listen to the song on Spotify or Apple Music, or visit his Linktree to find out more about 5AMUEL through his social media.
