Reality TV star Sam Thompson has become the most recent famous face to visit Kings Langley.
The star of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and Made in Chelsea passed through the village as part of his attempt to run and cycle 260 miles between London and Manchester across five days.
In the lead-up to this year’s Soccer Aid charity football match, Sam decided to transport the Soccer Aid for UNICEF match ball from Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge stadium to Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium.
Sam tackled the challenge to raise money for UNICEF, who support children facing conflict, hunger, crisis or illness around the world.
He said: “I’ve witnessed how a child’s life can be transformed by your donations. Whatever you’re able to give will reach children all over the world, giving them the chance to grow up safe, healthy and able to play.”
Through his gruelling feat, the star raised an incredible £2million.
