No Rest For the Spacemen (NRFTS) announced they have blasted through to the quarter-finals of the Isle of Wight Festival New Blood Competition.

The group, which features members from Kings Langley and Abbots Langley, rocketed into the new year with the exciting news. Made up of Charlie Parker on vocals and rhythm guitar, Dan Beling on lead guitar, Daniel Wood on drums, and bassist Alex Brunt, the band are looking forward to an out-of-this-world year.

The competition, run by Hot Vox, is designed to uncover the UK’s best emerging talent. With thousands of musicians applying each year, it has become a launchpad for grassroots artists hoping to break into the industry.

The contest will culminate in a Grand Final in London, where several top acts will go head to head for the ultimate prize – a coveted slot at the Isle of Wight Festival 2026.

Before then, NRFTS will go head-to-head with fellow quarter-finalists at the Star of Kings pub on Friday, March 13.
