It’s a bittersweet time for a Pinner-serving elderly care company; they’ve just received national accolade, yet their founder and director is set to retire.
Almost four years after opening a Pinner, Harrow and Northwood branch of global elderly care company, Seniors Helping Seniors, George Demetriou has decided to retire, leaving his operation for sale.
Meanwhile, the company has been listed, for the third year in a row, as one of the UK’s top 20 care home groups by carehome.co.uk
The business allows retired or semi-retired individuals to make use of their time by helping other people who need a bit of extra care.
George started the local branch after he read about the originally American company on a US flight.
Having decided to retire at the end of the year, he is now looking for someone to take over the business, which he runs from his own home, at a bargain price. He said his priority is to maintain continuity of service to his clients and team of carers.
