On the first Sunday in October runners will be at the start line for the 37th Tough Ten in Abbots Langley.

Before the popular race day, the committee are holding their annual curry night on Monday, September 23 at Abbots Tandoori.

There will also be a silent auction for an amazing limited edition poster of The Red Arrows which is signed by all the crew. Squadron Leader Martin Pert, who lived in Follett Drive, organised it to be sent to us to help raise even more funds for the community.

Warner Brothers have also kindly donated a family ticket for the Harry Potter Studio Tour.

Tickets are available from Over The Moon in the High Street for £15 each. Bids can also be made for either of these items at Over The Moon and via their website tough10.co.uk

The committee wanted to organise a flypast but the squadron but unfortunately are touring America in October.

Pat Warterton said on their Facebook page: “The Tough Ten committee are very excited to open a silent auction for this fantastic 2019 limited edition print, personally signed by both the Pilots and Squadron executives.

“This print has been kindly donated by the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team to help the Tough Ten raise funds for this year’s race.”

Entries are steadily coming in for all four races for Sunday, October 6, applications are still open to register on the website.
