The popular Berkhamsted Half Marathon is set to return next month on March 6 with runners invited to lace up their trainers and join in.
The Berkhamsted Half Marathon, promoted by the Rotary Club, tracks through attractive Chilterns countryside, and is ideally suited to runners coming back to competitive running after winter training (or hibernation), as well as an ideal opportunity for those who have taken up running to increase their fitness and enjoyment.
The separate 5-mile Fun Run follows part of the HM route and attracts families, groups and individuals. The club welcome entries from everybody with a passion or enthusiasm for running.
Now in its 39th year, the event is promoted by the Rotary Club of Berkhamsted Over the years they have directly raised more than £250,000 for various local charities including St Francis Hospice and Pepper Foundation, in addition to money raised by entrants for their own special causes.
