PARKING PROBLEMS: Kings Langley Football Club hold meeting with councils to solve parking issues

Published on: 17th February 2022   |   By: Jake Levison   |   Category: Uncategorized

Kings Langley Football Club (KLFC) have urged supporters not to park on grass verges following their meeting with Dacorum Borough Council (DBC) and Kings Langley Parish Council (KLPC).

In the last edition of KINGSnews, councillor Howard Button, chairman of KLPC, revealed that the two councils and the club were trying to deal with drivers who damage grass verges and park disruptively near The Orbital Fasteners Stadium; particularly on Coniston Road and Hemsptead Road.

Following a meeting between the three groups recently, a KLFC spokesperson said: “All three organisations were in agreement that it is a priority to find a long-term solution to this issue from both a safety and environmental point of view and will be working together to do so.

“The club will soon carry out a survey of supporters to gain a better understanding into their transport needs and how the club can support those whilst also contributing to the long-term solution.

“In the meantime, the football club would like to remind supporters not to park on the grass verges on Hempstead Road and its surrounding roads.”
