North Watford Library is looking for new people from Garston to sign up to the Home Library Service.
This service is provided by Hertfordshire Libraries and its volunteers, it is aimed at people who are housebound, registered blind or carers that struggle to get out.
The volunteers will deliver books and talking books to your doorstep free of charge once a month.
Jane Gaskell, assistant customer services supervisor at North Watford Library said: “Home Library Service deliveries provide a lifeline to many of our customers who find it difficult to access their local library due to poor physical/mental health or have caring responsibilities.
“We offer access to all library stock within the county including latest titles, non-fiction, classics and biographies in a selection of formations such as large print, standard print and talking books on a CD or MP3.”
If you think you may be eligible, know someone who could benefit from the service or would like further information then call 0300 123 4049 and ask to be put through to your local library to discuss further.
