Hikers looking to do their bit for the community are invited to sign up for a charity walk.
Hertfordshire homelessness charity DENS is holding its Castle Walk fundraising event, on Sunday, June 14.
Participants can choose between 5- or 10-mile routes, winding through the countryside and woodland – both starting and finishing at the iconic Berkhamsted Castle.
This family-friendly event, which also welcomes dogs, has previously hosted hundreds of participants, ranging from seasoned hikers to those enjoying a peaceful stroll.
All funds raised will help DENS prevent and alleviate homelessness, poverty and social exclusion.
Charlotte McCarthy, senior community and events fundraiser at DENS, said: “There’s nothing quite like the Castle Walk to kickstart the summer. When our first walkers gather at the castle, there’s such excitement and positivity in the air.”
