Officers have opened enquiries after a drone was spotted in the skies above Northwood.
On Wednesday, February 5, the drone was seen flying around Northwood Headquarters in the early hours of the morning.
A spokesperson for Three Rivers Police said: “We are aware of an incident involving a drone being flown in the vicinity of Northwood Headquarters on Sandy Lane, Northwood, which occurred at around 6.45am on Wednesday, February 5.
“It is an offence under the National Security Act to fly a remote vehicle over a prohibited place, and we advise anyone doing this to refrain from such activity.
“Officers are keen to speak with the individual flying the drone, to take up an opportunity to educate them on the importance of complying with these regulations.”
