A couple from Pinner opened their music shop because they wanted to bring people together through music.
However, their dreams have been tainted after a man stole £3,000 worth of musical equipment.
On Saturday, March 22, a man pretended to pay by card at Music and Life on Pinner High Street, inserting and inputting a pin. This was later discovered to be a fake transaction.
Speaking to Pinnernews, owner Orlando explained: “We want to raise awareness for other people who use card machines.
“We were sad we lost equipment and it’s very bad, especially as the council is also charging us double the business rate.”
The man was caught on CCTV leaving the shop with a Suhr guitar serial number 71038 and Danelectro red baritone guitar.
Orlando added: “This has had a big impact as we are not a corporate business; we are a couple just trying to do something for the community.”
The duo are asking for people with any information to contact them via www.shorturl.at/1BFlH
