A man has been taken to hospital with a suspected stab wound after an incident in Croxley Green this afternoon (Tuesday, January 19).
Police were called to Baldwins Lane in the village just before 2.30pm today after receiving reports that a man had been injured.
The area was cordoned off by police and a man was taken to hospital with an arm injury, which is not believed to be life threatening.
A spokesperson for Herts Police said: “Police were called at just before 2.30pm today (Tuesday 19 January) to reports of an injured man on Baldwins Lane, Croxley Green.
“Officers attended along with the East of England Ambulance Service.
“A man was taken to hospital for treatment to an arm injury, believed to be a stab wound. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
“Officers carried out a search of the area, however no suspects were located and enquiries are continuing into the incident.
“Call 101 quoting ISR 327 of 19 January if you can help with the investigation.”
After the incident, the injured man went into The Corner Plaice to seek assistance, where he waited for the emergency services to arrive.
