ROAD RAGE: Woman allegedly suffers head injury in Watford altercation

A woman has been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm after a woman was allegedly assaulted and sustained a head injury in Watford.

Between 8.45am and 9.05am on Wednesday, February 5, an altercation involving the driver of a white Kia and the driver of a black Citroen took place between Middle Way and Beechwood Rise.

Following an investigation, Gemma Simpson, 34, of Sheriff Way, Watford, was charged with assault causing actual bodily harm. She has been released on conditional bail ahead of a first appearance at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on Friday, March 7.

A woman, aged in her 20s, allegedly sustained the head injury after being assaulted.

Investigator Daryl Allwood, in the Case Investigation Team, said: “We are still appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and saw what happened to please get in touch. I can be emailed directly at daryl.allwood@herts.police.uk
