RRS is a group for local women of all abilities which offers a safe, social and supportive environment to make progress.
Official club runs take place every Tuesday at 7:30 pm, beginning at The Clubhouse (Mill End Community Centre, WD3 8HD).
The club splits into groups, which all cover a range of distances and abilities. There is usually a slow and steady three mile group, four-four-and-a-half mile groups of varying paces, and a more challenging six mile group – so something for everyone.
RRS is also a supporter of Ricky parkrun, and takes part every Saturday at 9:00am at the Aquadrome, as runners and volunteers.
The group is holding its annual beginners course this month, starting Tuesday, April 23, which aims to get participants running from 0 to 5k in just six weeks.
The joining fee is £35, including 2019 membership, a free club t-shirt and a 5k medal.
