This year’s pantomime at Watersmeet in Rickmansworth is well underway and fast becoming the talk of the town. Returning to Watersmeet and back by popular demand is the X Factor and G4 singing sensation Jonathan Ansell, who will play Prince Valiant in this year’s show, Sleeping Beauty, running until December 31. Following amazing success with the classically-trained group G4, Jonathan has embarked on a solo career and has just released his third album, Two Hearts – an eclectic mix of incredible songs that showcases his voice in a way never recorded before. Watersmeet detect that this Christmas there will be a Touch of Frost in the air as John Lyons who played Detective Sergeant George Toolan in the popular ITV series takes to the stage as King Crumble the lovable father of Sleeping Beauty. On December 22 at 9pm Jonathan will host an exclusive one-off show at Watersmeet, ‘An Intimate Evening With The Prince. He explained: “This show will be a fun mix of music and chat that will showcase some songs from my new album, Two Hearts, along with Popular Opera, Rock Anthems, Classic Songs, Show Tunes and a sprinkle of Christmas Favourites. “The evening will be very relaxed and will enable me to have some fun and perform the music I love in a special evening of song and festive cheer.”
