After 20 years of teaching in primary education, Croxley Baptist Church’s minister-in-training is now based at the church.
A member and volunteer at the church since 2008, Rachel Mead began her training last September. Now halfway through the course, she looks forward to drawing on her many years of experience with Croxley Baptist to further support the community.
Rachel said: “We have a lot of community groups at the church. We offer a place to come together in unity and community, supporting each other throughout the different phases of our lives.”
The future minister is “thrilled” to be formally installed at the church, which she attends alongside her husband and two sons.
Rachel added: “Sometimes walking inside a church can feel daunting. But I want people to know that everyone is welcome, regardless of your background. My hope is that people might find at Croxley Baptist a place where they are known by name, and where they know they are loved.”
