Croxley Green FC (CGFC) are hoping to nurture their very own Mary Earps MBE or Chloe Kelly as they introduce their first dedicated girls’ teams.
The club currently hosts players from under five to over 55, with boys’ and mixed teams playing in several leagues. They have also had girls progress through the club who now play for top teams such as Chelsea and Arsenal.
CGFC are now delighted to announce the introduction of their first-ever U8 and U9 girls’ only teams, with the hopes of playing in the Herts Girls Football Partnership League in September 2024.
Speaking to CROXLEYnews, a spokesperson for CGFC said: “This is just the beginning and we’re planning to form girls’ teams within all our age groups. There is a real need for more girls’ teams.”
