Radlett & District Museum welcomed tens of guests to its cream tea party last month.
Alongside enjoying cakes and scones, guests had the chance to hear the museum’s latest updates. In addition to its permanent exhibition, the museum has recently unveiled a new display celebrating the 100th anniversary of Oakway Parade and Porters Park Golf Club’s 125th birthday.
The museum also continues to erect plaques at buildings of significant local interest. So far, plaques have been installed at The Red Lion Hotel, the Flint Cottages, the Second World War report centre on the edge of Scrubbitts Wood, the Radlett Village Institute, Storia (formerly The Railway Inn pub), and Radlett United Synagogue (formerly Radlett Hall).
The museum is located at the rear of the Village Institute on Watling Street and is open every Wednesday and Saturday from 10am to 12pm.
