The cricket season may be months away, but Radlett Cricket Club’s young players won’t be short of action as they prepare to resume their popular indoor coaching sessions this winter.
The sessions will take place at Haberdashers’ Boys’ School Sports Hall and will be delivered by the club’s level two and three qualified coaches. Training is organised into six groups according to age and playing level.
For Women and Girls Hardball (all ages) and Mixed Softball U8/9, the programme runs for seven weeks from Sunday, February 15. Boys’ sessions for ages U10 to U15 begin on Sunday, January 11, for 11 weeks.
Speaking to RADLETTnews, coach Tom Jenkins said: “It’s good to give the children a break after the season and see them come back ready for action in the new year.
“We will once again be running a full schedule of young player coaching and matches during the summer, and these courses provide an ideal opportunity for the players to develop their skills and to get ready for the 2026 season.”
