Published on: 18th August 2022   |   By: Christina Pantelly   |   Category: Uncategorized

A popular author from Radlett is having his life story turned into a film based on the books he wrote.

Jason Cook, an ex-convict who turned his life around is “excited and a bit apprehensive” about the release of the film next year.

The film Cookster, based on his life story, is about a dyslexic teen misunderstood by his family, abandoned by the system, and desperate for respect. The teen becomes a drug dealer struggling
to balance his addiction and debt to a local gangster, while a rival threatens to destroy his world, driving him apart from the woman he loves and a daughter he’s never known.

Jason started writing when he was in prison and now has seven published books.

The production of the film begins in October and for any business wishing to sponsor, can email jasoncook@ntlworld.com
