A new opportunity for teenage girls in Radlett to socialise and travel abroad has opened up in the form of a new Girlguiding section.
Girlguiding are opening a new Radlett Rangers branch for young girls in the area between 14 and 18 years old – whether you’re already a Girlguiding member, or are just starting out, the Rangers give you a host of opportunities to gain leadership skills, build a network of friends in your area and enhance your CV.
Anyone from the local area is welcome and you don’t need to have been a Guide to join Rangers.
There will be taster sessions held from 8pm- 9.30 at the Radlett Guide Hut on Scrubbitts Park Road on February 4, March 3 and March 24, with weekly meetings expected to be at the same location and time once the Rangers officially begin functioning later in the year.
You will have the opportunity to choose which activity you would like to do, activities both at the Guide Hut as well as around the local area and beyond.
The organisation has plans to visit places in London and Cambridge, take local cycle rides, trips away in the UK and to Uganda next year.
