WITNESS APPEAL: Man struck with wine bottle during Berkhamsted altercation

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an altercation in Berkhamsted in which one man was hit on the head with a bottle.

The incident occurred at around 5.30pm on Friday, April 5, at the Tesco on the High Street.

It is reported that three men were involved in an altercation that started outside of the Tesco and then continued inside of the store. During the incident, one of the males was struck on the head with a wine bottle.

Police Constable Rebecca Kidd said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and I am appealing for anyone with information to please come forward.

“Were you in the area at the time and saw what happened, or have any further details that could assist our investigation? Please email me at rebecca.kidd@herts.police.uk with any information.”
