A head chef at a care home in Chorleywood is through to the regional stages of the Great British Care Awards.
Callum Stoneham, Head Chef at Chorleywood Beaumont has been selected for his achievements in providing the best quality of care for his residents by ensuring that their dietary needs and nutrition needs are met.
Callum was named National Chef of the Year at the Great British Care Awards 2019 (pictured) and is through again to the regional stage of the 2020 awards.
The London Regional Awards are part of the Great British Care Awards, a series of nine regional awards celebrating excellence across the care sector.
The purpose of the awards is to promote best practice within both the home care and care home sectors, and pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.
Ligia Silva, general manager for the care home said: “This award celebrates individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence in their work and could not be more dedicated to top-quality care.
“We are also proud of him as he has been nominated for three different awards. He has done so well reaching this stage of the competition and hope he goes all the way for the second year in a row.”
The awards ceremony will be held at Hilton Bankside on November 16.
