On this rainy Saturday afternoon (December 14), Kings Langley FC were in high spirits playing away against Stourbridge FC with an attendance of 460 people.

The game started off to slow a start with neither team managing to take ownership of the ball.

It takes to the 30th minute when finally, the opposition took charge and scored the first goal of the game.

However, Stourbridge didn’t hold the upper hand for much longer as, with some help from his team mates, Saul Williams manages to kick the ball in the back of the net, making it 1-1 at half time.

As the second half was underway, the Lango spared no time with Steve Ward scoring the teams second goal in the 58th minute, following with midfielder Casey Linsell scoring their third only minutes later.

The hosts attempted getting hold of the ball but the Kings Langley FC boys were too strong, managing to take home a win of 3-1.

At full time, Stourbridge FC tweeted: “Game of few chances but Kings Langley took their chances well. Unfortunately, we lacked creativity today but we cannot take anything away from @KLFCofficial.”

Kings Langley FC said: “An away win to be proud of. Well done boys.”

The Lango will be playing Biggleswade FC at home on Tuesday, December 17.
