Action for Silk Stream (AfSS) will host a community consultation on its projects at The Meads and Lyndhurst Park in Edgware next month.
The event will give residents the chance to see detailed designs for the green space, as drawn up by landscape architects.
The designs, which will include flood storage and a river restoration plan, will form the Meads Open Space project, following Burnt Oak Brook to Watling Park.
AfSS is a partnership project led by Harrow and Barnet Councils, which aims to maintain and improve local waterways.
Once plans have been finalised, work is set to begin in the second half of 2025. It is hoped that the restoration will be completed next year.
The consultation will take place at The Meads Open Space in Edgware on Saturday, March 15, between 11am and 3pm. If you cannot attend the event but would still like to have your say, email Silkstream@thames21.org.uk
