Prince and Princess chosen for Abbots Langley Carnival

Published on: 21st May 2019   |   By: News Bulletin   |   Category: Uncategorized

A Prince and Princess has been chosen for this year’s Abbots Langley Carnival which takes place next month.

Maximus Diesel of Abbots Langley School and Abigail Seeking of Divine Saviour School will get the honour of leading the parade through Abbots Langley on Carnival day in a real horse and carriage on June 8.

When told the news, Max was very surprised couldn’t quite believe he was going to be crowned ‘Prince’.

Once the news had sunk in, he then replied: “You can’t be bossy with me now Mummy, as I’m the Prince.”

Abigail was also delighted and is looking forward to getting dressed up as a Princess. As she is in Year 6 and is the last year, she can enter the competition, she therefore had a special message for Abbots Langley Community Centre that sponsor the competition.

She said: “Thank you for making my dreams come true!”

The community centre is hoping to repeat the Prince and Princess of the Parade next year and are looking for someone to volunteer and help organise the competition.
