POLICING PRIORITIES: Officers aim to tackle anti-social behaviour across Bushey in coming months

Published on: 18th July 2022   |   By: Holly Bullen   |   Category: Uncategorized

Officers across the Hertsmere Safer Neighbourhood Teams have announced their policing priorities, with the team set to tackle antisocial behaviour in Bushey.

Included in their priorities for the next three months, officers will aim to tackle anti-social behaviour at Moatfield Park and Harcourt Road shops in Bushey.

This follows reports of behaviour including young people congregating, being verbally abusive and smoking cannabis.

Safer Neighbourhood Inspector Rachael Robertson said: “The Safer Neighbourhood Team is committed to addressing these issues that matter to the community.

“I’d thank people for taking the time to let us know what issues they would like us to focus on. If we know about it, we can work to tackle it.

“It’s important to note that some comments we receive are about things that aren’t police matters, such as most parking-related issues and litter, however we do pass these comments to our partner agencies, such as Hertsmere Borough Council so that they are aware and can look to tackle them.”
