Hertfordshire Police are investigating an assault that took place on Baldwins Lane, near Croxley Danes School.
The incident occurred at around 3.31pm on Wednesday, September 21, and is alleged to have involved students from the school.
A Herts Police spokesperson said: “It was reported that during a confrontation between three people, a man in his twenties was assaulted, and sustained an actual bodily harm-level injury to his face.
“Enquiries are continuing as all investigative opportunities continue to be explored.
“In the meantime, the involved parties have been offered words of advice, and safeguarding measures have been put in place.
“Additionally, extra patrols have been put in place in the area to provide community reassurance.”
