A man and woman from Abbots Langley were arrested in connection with the supply of class A drugs after police raided homes in the village, Watford and South Oxhey yesterday (Tuesday). Police searched properties in dawn raids and seized suspected cocaine, cannabis and cash among other items. A 50-year-old woman and 46-year-old man from Abbots Langley along with a 30-year-old from Watford were arrested. They have been released on bail pending further enquiries. A 27-year-old woman from Watford was also given a warning for offences associated with cannabis. PC Andy Wise is from the Watford Operation Scorpion Team which targets burglars, robbers, drug and vehicle related crime. He said: “Under Operation Scorpion we work to tackle drugs and associated crime in communities.
