Officers are appealing for witnesses, information and dashcam footage following a serious road traffic collision in Hemel Hempstead.
At 10.45pm on Tuesday, December 5, police were called to an incident involving a white moped, which had collided with a central island on Leverstock Green Road, near the junction with Vauxhall Road.
Officers and colleagues from the ambulance service attended and the moped rider, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
PC Jake Howard, from the Road Policing Unit, said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and we are appealing for anyone with information to please get in touch.
“If you were driving in the area at the time and have a dashcam fitted, please check it as you may have recorded some crucial footage which may help our investigation.”
