A virtual community meeting was held on December 1 to address the rise in burglaries in Amersham.
Neighbourhood Inspector James Ellis set the agenda, which included a presentation of the current crime picture delivered by Detective Inspector Lucie Clarke.
It also highlighted the nature of the offences and where they took place.
The meeting covered what the police are doing to tackle the issue, and tips on how residents can secure their homes.
Attendees also had the opportunity to ask the officers any questions they had.
Thames Valley Police shared on Twitter: “Following a rise in burglaries in the Amersham area, patrols are being carried out by your neighbourhood team and response teams. We are working with our detectives in capturing those involved. Please review security at the rear of your property and look out for your neighbours.”
