Detectives investigating a burglary in Watford are releasing images of some of the items stolen in a bid to trace them.

Sometime between 3.45pm and 7.45pm on Sunday, January 8, an address in Melia Close was broken into.

A search was carried out and a number of jewellery items were stolen, along with cash and a small grey safe containing Polish currency.

Detective Constable Judith Muskett, from the Local Crime Unit, said: “Our enquiries are continuing at this time. As part of this, we are releasing images of some of the stolen items in a bid to trace them and those responsible for the burglary.

“If you think you may have come across these items, or have any other information about the incident, please get in contact. Even something seemingly insignificant could prove key to progressing the investigation.”
